Tomorrow we determine the gender of Clumpo, but I think I am still going to be calling Clumpo “Clumpo” up until it is 2 weeks old. After 6 months, that has become the unofficial name, taking on an air of cuteness and projected personality. We are often using a Clumpo voice to personify what the little wiggler may be trying to express.
“I am so excited to be eating spicy food! I am going to do a salsa dance now.”
“This Japanese TV show about food was more boring than the other 20 TV shows about food being broadcast concurrently. My disgust is expressed in wiggling.”
“How was your day? That’s nice. My day was pretty good. I am going to wiggle now.”
I am honestly fine with whatever the gender may be. I don’t have any plans to live out my life vicariously though my children by forcing them to play football or participate in beauty pageants. I will, however, by forcing them to play with Legos* no matter what gender or combination of genders they may be. This is completely non-negotiable. Your future Christmas presents are secretly my presents, Clumpo.
*Europeans will shit themselves in frustration over an American** using Lego as a countable noun rather than as an adjective to describe a product
**Europeans will shit themselves in frustration over an American** referring to themselves as American despite it being a continent. Whelp, if you wanted to dictate our grammar, than you should have done a better job of stomping out the rebellion, losers.
