I really thought that I would get a little version of me. He’s not there yet. That’s going to take about 6 more years of investment, I think.
At the moment, Leo has surpassed 65cm and 7kg. He’s much heftier than he was when he was born! He can support his own head, sort of grasp things, sort of able to hold bottles, and sort of reacting to different voices.
We lightly blow in his face whenever we eat things and watch his reaction, which is usually either turning away or taking in a surprised sniff. I wanted to see how he’d react to adult food, so I put a sliced cucumber in his mouth, and his facial expression turned into “what in the world did you just do to my mouth, dad?” Mission failed. I suppose we should wait a while before introducing real foods.
